Aluma Shield is both a powder coating company and an extension of the extruded metal canopies through Austin Canvas & Awning. Before it's redesign, it was a very cluttered and confusingly design website. Since the extruded metal site of the company works through Austin Canvas, it was my opinion to redesign the website towards local customers needing powder coating. The redesign broke the majority of our demographic into categories so that the user could quickly find where they should navigate and become a new lead.
The flagship company and the first website redesign as Marketing Director of Prem Corp, it's parent company. Austin Canvas & Awning had a severely outdated website with misinformation, old imagery, and overall bad design. Their main areas of focus are New Construction, Commercial, and Residential. I decided to go with a customer focused design and navigation to help users find where they should navigate to get the information and become a new lead.
Bragging the first online tarp store, tarps4less.com has been around since 2001. When starting as the Marketing Director for their parent company, I took this site from an outdated, plugin heavy, WordPress shopping cart site over to a freshly designed Shopify site averaging $657 a sale in it's first 2 months with no advertising.
The Columbia, SC version of it's sister company Austin Canvas & Awning has been around since 1908 Unfortunately the website and branding appeared to be from then as well. The previous site was an extremely outdated website that was developed in the early 2000's and obviously in need of an update. I developed a one page site that covers much of what they do until I can build out more pages. In that time since the new site went live they are busier than ever!
Austin Tarp & Cargo Control is a manufacturer of American and handmade flatbed and dump truck tarps. Aside from manufacturing tarps, they also service and install tarps and the related cargo control of flatbed and dump trucks. Before my taking the position of marketing director for their parent company, tarpman.com had not made a sale in 2 years. I transferred all products and product info to a new shopify store and sales have come in frequently, averaging nearly $600 per sale, with no advertising.
